Questo stupendo tasto telegrafico con il tipico design a gobba di cammello, comunemente detto Camelback è stato costruito in Olanda da una famiglia di Origini Italiane.

Questo tasto è stato uno tra i primi esempi di camelback e per certo ha dettato lo stile delle prime chiavi prodotte in Europa.

Un tasto certamente più solido e possente nelle dimensioni e nella forma, rispetto ai confratelli Americani.

Questo stupendo tasto è stato il mio primo Camelback ricevuto dal caro amico Herman Willemsen VK2IXV.

Il tasto è stato costruito nelle officine Olandesi Caminada.

Carlo Antonio Caminada, Liutaio, nato nel 1757 nel piccolo paesino di Barni, situato nel mezzo del ramo del Lago di Como. Antonio Caminada si trasferi in Olanda nella città di Delft. Li vi apri un'officina di strumenti elettrici di precisione per la fabbricazione e il commercio di orologi, di strumenti per la matematica, la fisica e le scienze marittime, strumenti di segnalazione e telegrafici. nel 1828 Jan Caminada suo figlio inizio l'attività di Liutaio insieme al padre.

Jan Ebbe ben 15 figli, due di questi figli, Petrus e Hendricus Caminada continuarono la tradizione di famiglia e fondarono una loro società nella cittadina di Den Haag nell'anno 1867.

L'esatta dicitura della Società all'epoca era Gebr. P. en H. Caminada, che tradotta in breve "Fratelli Petrus ed Hendricus Caminada Co."

This beautiful telegraph key with the typical camel hump design, commonly called Camelback, was built in Holland by a family of Italian origins.

This key was one of the first examples of camelback and certainly dictated the style of the first keys produced in Europe.

A key that is certainly more solid and powerful in size and shape than its American counterparts.

This gorgeous fret was my first Camelback received from dear friend Herman Willemsen VK2IXV.

The key was built in the Dutch Caminada workshops.

Carlo Antonio Caminada, violin maker, born in 1757 in the small village of Barni, located in the middle of the branch of Lake Como. Antonio Caminada moved to the Netherlands to the city of Delft. There he opened a workshop producing precision electrical instruments for the manufacture and trade of watches, instruments for mathematics, physics and maritime sciences, signaling and telegraphic instruments. in 1828 Jan Caminada, his son, began working as a luthier together with his father.

Jan had 15 children, two of these sons, Petrus and Hendricus Caminada continued the family tradition and founded their own company in the town of Den Haag in the year 1867.

The exact name of the Company at the time was Gebr. P. en H. Caminada, which shortly translated "Brothers Petrus and Hendricus Caminada Co."

During the Franco-German war of 1870, the Caminada workshops produced the telegraph equipment of the Digney system, for the Rijkstelegraaf (state telegraphs).

Questo tasto telegrafico ha il classico design dei postali di stile Olandese. Non ha alcuna scritta per definire il costruttore, riporta solo il numero seriale #866 inciso sotto la base.

Il tasto è veramente particolare perchè è composto insolitamente da più metalli.

Il frame, il braccio principale e le due barre di contatto sono in alluminio, mente il perno interno (rivestito poi in ottone) e la vite di fermo del registro di corsa sono in acciaio ferroso, idem le viti che fissano l'hardware alla base di legno,Ii 3 terminali di contatto sono in ottone, come lo sono le viti di regolazione poste sul braccio principale, mentre le due viti che sostengono i contatti sono in argento. Il pomello ha lo stile classico Olandese, composito in legno e ottone,

La base di legno di acero laccato, ha forma quadra con dimensioni veramente eccezionali.

This morse key has the classic Dutch style post design. It has no writing to define the manufacturer, it only has the serial number # 866 engraved under the base.

Tasto telegrafico postale di stile Olandese. Costruttore ignoto, non ci sono riferimenti ne numeri setriali,

Il progetto è identico al tasto sopra esposto, seppur costruito in un periodo precente.

Si differenzia per i materiali utilizzati, in questo caso si compone essenzialmente di ottone per l'hardware, di legno per la base e di bakelite per la parte superiore del pomello.

Dutch style postal telegraph key. Manufacturer unknown, there are no references or setrial numbers,

The project is identical to the key shown above, albeit built in an earlier period.

It differs in the materials used, in this case it is essentially composed of brass for the hardware, wood for the base and bakelite for the upper part of the knob.
