Telegraph key from Bulgaria

Altro tasto telegrafico utilizzato negli uffici postali Bulgari.

Anche questo tasto, come il sotto esposto, non presenta scritte o simboli che possono determinare il costruttore.

Noto però tra i due tasti alcune differenze.

Il tasto numero uno ha la base leggermente più piccola e più stretta del tasto sotto esposto (tra i due tasti ho inserito una foto di comparazione).

Anche l'hardware risente di questa differenza di dimensioni. Il pivot del secondo tasto, nel punto di intersezione tra il pivot e le due viti di regolazione del frame ha dei grandi dadi rotondi che fungono come da guida tra le parti, credo per aumentarne la solidità, ma nonostante questo accorgimento operativamente non ho riscontrato differenze tra i due tasti.

Cambiano leggermente anche la forma e la finitura del pomello, il primo è di legno tinto naturale, il secondo è laccato nero.

I terminali del primp tasto sono semplicemente di ottone, mente nel secondo osserviamo le medesime viti, ma nichelate.

Tutte queste differenze mi lasciano ipotizzare che il primo tasto e più vecchio di quello che segue.

Also this key, like the below, doesn't have write or symbol that can be determine the constructor.

However, I notice some differences between the two keys.

The number one has the base slightly smaller and narrower than the key below (between the two keys I inserted a comparison picture).

Even the hardware is affected by this difference in size. The pivot of the second key, at the point of intersection between the pivot and the two adjusting screws of the frame, has large round nuts that act as a guide between the parts, I believe to increase the solidity, but despite this expedient, the operation don't had differences between the two keys.

The shape and finish of the knob also change slightly, the first is made of natural lacquered wood, the second is finshed with black paint.

The terminals of the first key are simply brass, while in the second we observe the same screws, but nickel-plated.

All these differences allow me to hypothesize that the first key is older than the key follows.
