Telegraph key from India - टेलीग्राफिक कीज़
1) Oldest BURMA GPO Key .
Si tratta di un antico tasto telegrafico utilizzato negli uffici postali presumibilmente sin dai primi anni del '900, acquistato nella Regione del Burma in India.
Si può notare il caratteristico desing utilizzato nei tasti postali Indiani, la leva è curvata verso il basso dalla parte dell'operatore.
Il tasto non ha scritte o targhe per riconoscere il produttore, presenta però due numeri seriali, con molta probabilità numero di produzione e numero di assegnazione nell'ufficio postale.
This is an ancient telegraph key used in Indian G.P.O. may be since the early 1900s, purchased in Fed. country of Burma, in India.
You can see i nthis key the typical desing used in the other Indian GPO keys with the lever bent down from the operator's side.
The key has no mark or plate to recognize the manufacturer, but has two serial numbers, most likely the production number and assignment number in the Post Office.

2) Oldest Key from India .
In accordo con il collezionista Tom DL4PY, il tasto è stato catalogato di produzione Indiana.
Tom ha trovato questo tasto in Inghilterra e le ipotesi sono che il tasto è stato costruito ed utilizzato dalle forze armate Inglesi durante la campagna d'India, utilizzato nelle loro applicazioni campali e negli uffici telegrafici da loro gestiti.
Quando l'India ha raggiunto l'indipendenza (1947), molti di questi tasti sono rientrati in Inghilterra portati indietro come ricordo dai telegrafisti Inglesi che rientravano in patria.
Il tasto non presenta ne marchi di produzione, ne numeri seriali, l'anno di produzione non è noto, ma dal design si può ipotizzare 1920 - 30.
Costruzione solida e ricercata che richiama il design Inglese, la mia chiave differisce da quella di Tom per la presenza di una lastra di metallo utile ad aumentare il peso del tasto, ed il pomello.

According to the friend and collector Tom DL4PY, this key was cataloged as Indiana's production.
Tom found this key in England and the assumptions are that the key was biuld and during period of British Raj by the British telegrapher and Signlas Forces in their field operation and into military telegraph offices.
When India reached independence (1947), many of these keys returned to England as remember from the English telegraphers who came back to home.
The key doesn't have any production mark or serial numbers, year of production is unknow but for design May-be 1920-30.
Solid and sophisticated construction that recalls the English GPO design. My key differs from Tom's key for the presence of a useful metal plate to increase the weight of thekey and the knob.
